"What is Hypnosis?"

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind and it may surprise you to learn that we experience hypnosis everyday of our lives. Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation; this is not sleep but a heightened state of awareness similar to a daydream. In this deep relaxed state the subconscious mind becomes open to suggestion and visualisation, creating a rich sensory experience, we all enter this natural state upon awakening and prior to falling asleep.

"Is Hypnosis Safe?"

Yes, hypnosis is completely safe, you are totally aware and in control throughout the therapy session, and you can terminate the session at any time, Hypnosis is not sleep and you cannot be made to do something against your will, nor can you become "stuck" in a state of hypnosis. It is simply a calming and relaxing experience which allows you to make the important changes to enhance your life.

"Will I remember what happened?"

Yes you will remember everything, You are fully aware of what happening at all times and you are always In control.

"How does Hypnosis feel?"

For many people hypnosis is nothing more than a feeling of total relaxation and calmness, it can be likened to daydreaming. Often the person being hypnotised does not realise how deeply relaxed they have been until they come out of hypnosis.

"Who may benefit from Hypnotherapy?"

The answer to this question is "virtually everyone" We all have our own inner potential, but this does not mean all of us our performing to our "actual potential". Hypnotherapy utilises a person’s own inner resources for beneficial change psychologically and physiologically.
